Supvr., Production (Plant)

Production Supervisor is to work directly with and supervise a production workforce during shift.
This person will have responsibility for the day-to-day management for all aspects of the production floor, with Safety as a top priority, assuring that work is produced in accordance with operating targets.
He or she ensures compliance with established customer quality and production standards.
They understand and align plant operations & production with the Customer Support group as he/she executes their role in the overall order fulfillment process to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives.
The job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Acts as primary back up to the Department Manager Supervises and facilitates the day-to-day shift activities of team.
Manages and oversees training assignments for all department employees and ensures timely completion Utilizes knowledge and experience to provide training to team members.
Responsible for their individual performance.
Helps team achieve goals and has responsibility for personnel issues, including required discipline.
Oversees scheduling, material handling issues and maintenance, as well as resolving production problems.
Provides a communication network between direct reports and middle and upper management.
Works with employees to maintain a safe work environment.
Encourages and leads team members to work in a safe manner and to seek improvement in work practices for their benefit.
Develops and implements safety procedures and supports Safety Coordinator in achieving departmental and plant safety goals.
Assures that the team maintains quality standards.
Ensures that product quality, production efficiencies, and overall productivity meets or exceeds established standards, and is directly accountable for expenditures exceeding budgeted levels.
Strives to be technically proficient on the machinery in the department.
Ensures equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
Responsible for the effective and profitable operation of new business.
Aids the team in problem resolution and assures that testing and product development is carried out in a professional manner.
Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, quality, safety incidents and overall continuous improvement of products and processes) as required.
Leads ongoing training, safety training and environmental training activities for site.
Leads plant safety committee team meetings and activities, creating a safety culture that promotes and recognizes employee engagement.
Maintains/Implements location and company health and safety programs to identify and reduce risk.
Compiles required HSE tracking, report and metrics.
Participates in corporate level HSE initiatives and calls.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
