Seeking Monitor Tech/Unit Secretary!
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area
We are seeking a Monitor Tech/Unit Secretarywho under general supervision and according to established proceduresassist the nurses in the administration of patient care by providing continuous observation of the cardiac monitors.Included in this role will be the recognition and strip documentation of cardiac arrhythmias with prompt reporting to the appropriate nurse andtelemetry equipment manager.Also functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing clinical support and performs routine non-patient care tasks including patient transportation, requisition, stocking, and organization of unit supplies, and maintenance tasks as designated.

The Observation Unit (Short Stay Unit) is a new level of care provided by Floyd MemorialHospital
15 Bed Unit
Will work one (1) weekend every four (4) weeks and rotate holidays
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR certification(will be offered by the organization upon hire) and annual CPR training.
Previousexperience that has provided the opportunity to develop one or more of the following skills: interpretation of cardiac rhythms; use of health care related computer application; basic secretarial skills; public relation skills.
Typing, word processing, and computer experience.
