Assistant Traveling Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Traveling Superintendent to satisfy current and new client growth.

This individual must understand the project is priority and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Wal-Mart experience and certifications preferred but not required.
Duties will be varied but will include:
- Follow directions from lead super (night super)
- Direct and coordinate operational, administrative, management, and supportive services associated with the construction site.
- Conducts inventories of materials, anticipates needs and requirements and continually coordinates with the Singleton Project Manager for uninterrupted flow of materials to maintain the work schedule.
- Must have a complete understanding of the scope and schedule to convey competence and assertiveness to our customer representative upon their weekly visits
- Read and interpret job specs and plans to ensure a quality project is completed on time and within budget.
- Permit supervision including scheduling inspections and meeting with inspectors on site.
- Follow, distribute, and update a project schedule as necessary with Client and Singleton Project Manager Authorization.
- Acts to implement and enforce safety measures and report all safety violations to the Safety Manager and Singleton Project Manager.
- Conduct all Subcontractor Meetings and Safety Meetings and record per Company program.
- Solves Problems within his or her authority and when necessary works with other employees to accomplish needed tasks.
- Must fully understand RFI's as to facilitate communication with the Singleton Project Manager as needed to complete the project.
- Responsible for weekly production reports, time cards and other records to turn into the office.
- Resolve subcontractor problems in the field to minimize impact to the project.
- Communication with the Singleton Project Manager on the status of the project.
- Maintains a good operating relationship with the other employees, material suppliers, customer, and the general public.
- Handle all compliance, badging (access control), immigration, hazardous waste and dumpsters
Requirements of the role includes:
- Valid Driver License
- Possess communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customer, Construction Manager and subs.
- Demonstrated leadership, Excellent communication and organizational skills ability is essential
- Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Extensive travel is required
- Receive deliveries
- Source and pick up material
- Some Construction experience (3-5 years)
- OHSA 10 or 30 a plus but not requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
